The Internet is growing at a phenomenal rate with over 200 million people currently on-line around the world. This figure is expected to grow to 400 million by the year 2001 and it is estimated that over 1 billion people will signup in the next 7 years.

All of these people who are either using the Internet currently or will signup in the future have one thing in common.

A company or organization must provide them with an access point before they can "surf" the net.
